Not only does he pride himself on offering only high-quality work, with top-notch materials, and no corner-cutting but is also well-versed in all aspects of Marine Canvas as he enjoys finding unique solutions to make your boating experience as great as he can.
In addition to Apex Stitching’s large client base earned mostly through referrals and word of mouth, he maintains a consistent and steady workload, while still making time for all his customers across the greater Seattle area. On any given day he could be as far south as Tacoma, or as far north as Anacortes.

We have so much more visibility with way less canvas seams. The front window snaps up. Literally so cool and easy. With the camper back panels sliding and zipping up. No rolling or removing! So appreciated Dan's expertise and creative view of the work we wanted aboard our 50' CHB Motor Yacht. We have a large 200sq' sundeck wrapped on 3 sides with snapping eisenglass that was very much in need of replacement. Dan's install provided us new sliding 60mil poly giving us a major transformation in visibility and flexibility. Was then an easy decision to have Dan replace our wrap around windows and Bimini canvas in our 140sq' flybridge. Besides the beautiful view through our new widened front "glass", he created a total new way to slide open the panels giving us an easy way to control airflow. All in all an upgrade that Apex Stitching made well worth the investment.

Guided by the great reviews here, I went to Dan with a broken zipper on my sailboat dodger. I thought it might be too small of a job for him to be bothered, but rather than sending me away he told me to bring it in from my car and he'd replace it right then while I waited. 10 min and $25 later it was as good as new! While this was a simple job for him, it was clear from watching Dan work that is a master of his craft, and a bonus that he happens also to be a genuinely nice guy. He is officially my new go-to guy for all of my boat canvas needs!

Dan is awesome! He made a pretty custom sunbrella cover for my row boat and 3 years later it’s holding up very well! He also went above and beyond and was and came to my house free of charge to show me how to get the cover to fit on since I washed it and was struggling to get it back on. Highly recommend!
